The Present Generation is 'Too Sensitive and Too Touchy' Do you really agree?
I remember once, someone blamed the present Z-gen and Alpha gen youth and adolescents for being too sensitive and for being too touchy!
One of the youngsters responded swiftly by saying 'Its not that we are too sensitive, rather you are all too 'Insensitive'. He explained further by saying, may be you were brought up in a circumstances where you were scolded, even beaten and you were made to believe that everything the elders did was for your own good; Being brought up in a culture where people were too insensitive, when we react in the right way for the right reasons, we become too touchy and sensitive!

ReplyDeleteWith that being said, categorization of the current people as Gen z and various other factors is further causing divide. It used to be Child , youngster and Father and Grandfather same applies for women gender.
Regarding being touchy and sensitive, not being touchy or insensitive, it depends on each person and their level of viewing each scenario,person and environment.
What one can take it easy, the others will not and what's seems light for one person will be hard for another and I can go on & on.
With that being said, sometimes making choices are the most difficult thing cause it can create huge impact on people's lives both positively and negatively.
Very well said, it is interesting to note how you respect people and their opinion, but we see the blame game from both the sides, It would be better that we understand everyone with their own context and signs of the times. Here it would be nice if the seniors who have gone through the challenges of youthful days be more considerate towards the youth
